The Escanaba in da Moonlight poster unveiled!
After months and months of waiting for our
contractor in India (Ahmed's Sitting Tiger
Emporium of Theatrical Posters and Urinal Cakes)
to finish the poster design for our production of
Escanaba in da Moonlight,
it finally arrived just the other day. Now, we're not
saying that it's a quantum leap in the art of the theatre poster, but
comparisons to the Rosetta Stone are completely understandable.
Undoubtedly archeologists in the future will see this poster as a prime
reference in their efforts to decode the relationship between Theatre, a key
City in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan,
Deer Season and Moonlight.
So many people have asked us over the years how
they could get a copy of one of our show posters. (Actually
this has never happened, but we hope that people will start
asking now.) We will neither confirm
or deny that Russian cosmonaut, Yuri "Smitty" Hoshimoto, visits this web
site every night as he searches for our poster to use as the screen saver
for his terminal on the Space Station. So, in response to this
thundering demand, we are posting the official poster for
Escanaba in da Moonlight
here on this page.
Think of it! You can hang your very own copy of the coveted poster for
our production of Escanaba in da Moonlight
above your bed, next to your
Frampton Comes Alive poster. (For you younger kids, Peter Frampton was
your parents version of Eminem.)
Imagine how wonderful it will be to
look up each night and have these five faces glaring down as they sooth you
to your slumbers.
Better yet, why not trot down to the local tattoo parlor and ask whoever is
working at the moment to place this monumental breakthrough in poster design
permanently on a large area of your body? But don't hesitate. It
would be a shame to be the only person at the beach without this poster on
their back.

All
you need to do is right-click your mouse on the poster graphic above and
select "Save Picture As..."
from the popup menu. After you have saved the
file to your computer, use your preferred graphics program to print your own
poster.
